The Fate of Exchangeable Muslim Properties in the City of Drama

Synopsis
Since 1922, many papers dealing with the refugee phenomenon have been pub-lished in Greece. However, there are very few investigations in local and general Greek historiography that deal with specific issues of economic and social inte-gration of refugees into the Greek society and with the “expatriation” of Muslims correspondingly and even fewer that study the local records of exchangeable properties or the records of mortgage offices. The present research is orientated in this direction, as it studies the record of exchangeable Muslim properties of the Real Estate Service of Drama, attempting to investigate and determine the fate of Muslim property in Drama. The present paper is part of a wider research implemented as a post doctoral research in the (here is written the name of the Department and the University and also the citation of the research).
