Periodicals hold significant importance not only in the realm of literary history but also in the field of cultural history research. They contain a vast reservoir of knowledge concerning the historical, political, literary, economic, artistic, and social aspects of a state. The trajectory of periodical publishing serves as an indicator of trends in societal development. The acceleration of periodical publishing in the 19th century marked the advent of democratic and scientific ex-pansions. A temporal correlation also exists globally between the emergence of the first periodicals, particularly magazines, and the progress of democratic and scientific advancements. The evolution of periodical publishing is regarded as a pivotal factor in shaping future societal landscapes. This phenomenon is equally observed in the Balkans. Despite the unique political historical experiences and emergence of nations in the Balkans, periodicals have played a crucial role in the dissemination of diverse ideologies and debates since the 19th century.
