This article will present the most significant social events and econo-mic conditions in the Republic of Türkiye, as reported by the Bosnian-Herzego-vinian magazine Islamski svijet (1932-1935). By examining texts related to social events and the economic situation, the paper will also consider the political de-cisions that influenced the social realities and economic policies of the Republic of Türkiye. It highlights that the public in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, particu-larly in Bosnia and Herzegovina, was well-informed about these topics. On the contrary, the content of individual articles, news, and columns in the 161 issues of Islamski svijet clearly demonstrates the Bosnian-Herzegovinian public’s need and interest in understanding the events during this turbulent period in modern Türkiye.
